Winners of six of their last eight games, the Vegas Golden Knights skate into Bridgestone Arena Tuesday to take on the Nashville Predators who are the hottest team in hockey, going 15-2 since mid-February. The Predators are on a five-game winning streak and have won three games in a row on home ice as they have clawed their way back into the playoff chase currently holding onto one of two wild card spots in the Western Conference and sit eight points ahead of St. Louis with 11 games to play. Vegas is five points ahead of the Blues for the final wild card spot as they look to make it into the playoffs for the sixth time in the last seven seasons.

Predators winger Filip Forsberg leads the team with 39 goals this season, tied for ninth-most in the NHL. Forsberg is three goals shy of tying his career high of 42 goals set during the 2021-22 season and has scored six goals in his last five games.
With a career-high 39 goals, Golden Knights winger Jonathan Marchessault has posted seven goals in his last eight games boosting his all-time franchise lead to 189 goals since joining Vegas during its expansion season in 2017.
The season series is tied 1-1 with Nashville winning the last meeting in Vegas back in mid-February, but the Golden Knights have won seven of the last 10 games.
