This series has been a national coming out party for Banchero in his second season putting the offense on his back. He is averaging 25.2 points, 7.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game on 48-38-71 shooting splits. During this series, Banchero has two 30-plus point games showing he can put the team on his back.

For Cleveland, it might be without starter Jarrett Allen (ribs) for the third straight game giving Evan Mobley more opportunity to control the paint. This Sunday, the Michigan Panthers will try to win back-to-back games for the first time this season when they welcome the Arlington Renegades to Ford Field for Week 6 UFL action.

Through the first half of the 2024 UFL season, the Michigan Panthers (3-2) have been an up-and-down team. They beat the St. Louis Battlehawks 18-16 in Week 1, and since have alternated wins and losses in every game. Georgia and Mississippi State to decide their 3-game series in Starkville on Sunday, fighting for SEC tournament seeding

No. 12 Georgia (38-14) struck back on Saturday with a win at No. 19 Mississippi State (32-17) and the teams will decide their three-game series in their regular-season finale on Sunday morning at Nusz Park in Starkville. Georgia enters Sunday fifth in the Southeastern Conference at 12-11, ahead of Missouri on a head-to-head tiebreaker. Mississippi State stands at 11-12 and in eighth place, a half-game behind LSU’s 12-12 mark. Both teams will play in the first round of the SEC tournament next week, hosted by Auburn. Unbeatens collide on Sunday in Espoo, Finland, as the United States and Canada clash for the gold medal at the U-18 world championships

After rolling through group play undefeated, the United States (6-0-0) and Canada (6-0-0) appeared on a collision course at the IIHF U-18 World Championships. On Sunday, the unquestioned powers of the tournament meet for the gold medal at Metro Arena in Espoo, Finland. The United States’ offensive juggernaut scored 44 goals en route to the final while allowing only nine. Canada’s goal differential is a gaudy 40-11. The Americans feature the top scorer in the tournament in James Hagens, who has piled up 22 points on nine goals and 13 assists. Canada’s duo of Gavin McKenna and Porter Martone racked up 16 points each, with McKenna lighting the lamp seven times and Martone finding the twine with five goals. American Cole Eiserman is second in Finland with eight goals.

The NCAA Tournament Championship of beach volleyball is a rematch between USC and UCLA today.

For the second year in a row, third time in four seasons and fourth time in five tournaments the college beach volleyball NCAA Tournament is down to the same teams. Top-seeded USC is in a position to win the championship for the fourth season in a row and sixth time overall. They take on second-seeded UCLA, the only other team to win this tournament with two titles in the trophy case. These teams are coming off a season where they played five times overall, including the Trojans coming away with the Pac-12 Tournament Championship. This has become the rivalry in college beach volleyball since 2016 when the first tournament was played.

In the Pac-12 Championship match the Trojans were on top of their game winning the first three sets to earn the 3-0 victory. The Nourse twins, Audrey and Nicole, got the match started with a win in the first set (21-13, 21-11) setting the stage for one of the Trojans best overall performances of the season.

This season Trojans had one of the best seasons in beach volleyball history led by Coach of the Year Dain Blanton and Player of the Year Megan Kraft, who also became a four-time All-American on the first team. Kraft is joined by partner Delaynie Maple on the first team as the only two members of the All-American Team this season.

The Bruins counter with Maggie Boyd and Lexy Denaburg on the first team and Peri Brennan and Devon Newberry on the second team. These teams have the best top-end talent in the country and have the opportunity to put that on full display in the 2024 NCAA Tournament Championship in beach volleyball.
