During the tournament the Cardinal have cruised to the finals with wins over eighth-seeded Washington (4-0) and fourth-seeded Arizona State (5-1). Another win today would give the Cardinal its first ever win in the men’s tennis tournament. All that stands in the way are the second-seeded Wildcats who are also looking for their first championship.

The Wildcats journey to the championship match saw the team go 7-1 in conference play. They have six straight matches and 17 of their last 18 matches including in the tournament. In the first round the Wildcats defeated seventh-seeded USC (4-2) and then sixth-seeded Oregon (4-1) in the semifinals to earn their way into the final match in Pac-12 history today.
