Joshua Kimmich and Germany will take on England in the second game of the UEFA Nation’s League.
As the UEFA Nations League began, Germany and England were placed in the same group (Group A3) along with Hungary and Italy. Hungary currently leads the group as the only team with a win through the first set of games.

England played Hungary in its opening Nation’s League match. For 66 minutes, the game was scoreless before Dominik Szoboszlai scored in the 66th minute on a penalty kick after a foul inside the box gave Hungary the win.
England still led the game with 58% possession and 12 shots total despite the loss. The English were only two shots on goal worse, and that was England’s first loss in the last five international appearances.
Germany opened up with a game against Italy, the fourth team in the group. After going most of the game without a goal, Italy’s Lorenzo Pellegrini broke the tied in the 70th minute with a goal.
Germany, now down 1-0, responded quickly in the 73rd-minute with a goal from Joshua Kimmich to tie the game. The following 20 minutes went scoreless and the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
