Romania hosts Montenegro on the fourth matchday of the UEFA Nations League on Tuesday.
The race in Group 3 of League B is heating up with just three matches left in the UEFA Nations League group stages. Bosnia and Herzegovina is at the top of the group with five points. Montenegro began its Nations League campaign on June 4 with a 2-0 victory over its Tuesday rival Romania. After a slow first half on both sides of the ball, Montenegro took the lead off of a Stefan Mugoša finish in the second half. Then, Marko Vukčević doubled the lead in the 87th minute to secure all three points for the hosts.
Following the win, Montenegro traveled to face Finland, where the Finnish team came away with a 2-0 victory in Helsinki.
Finally, in the team’s most recent outing, Montenegro tied Group B3-leader Bosnia and Herzegovina 1-1 at home.
