Michigan goes for its seventh straight win on Friday when it welcomes Nebraska to town

Michigan hosts Nebraska on Friday in the first of a three-game series. The Wolverines come into Friday having won six in a row and a perfect 10-0 at home. They have been great on their home field and are looking to continue that run and improve on their 11-3 Big Ten record. All three of the Wolverines conference losses have come against Northwestern and they have picked up sweeps against Purdue, Indiana and Iowa. They also own two wins against Michigan State, the last of which came on Tuesday when they beat the Spartans 5-1 at home.

The Cornhuskers also come into the weekend with just three conference losses. All three of those have come in the last six games as they dropped two of three to Penn State and then lost to Rutgers in the opener of that series.

They did bounce back to beat the Scarlet Knights in the last two games to take the series. They now sit at 8-3 in the Big Ten and 26-16 overall.

They have played well away from home this year as they are 6-2 in true road games and 16-8 away from their home field overall.
