The Devils, fighting for the final playoff spot in the World Jai Alai League, look to avenge an earlier loss to the Cyclones on Friday night.
The Devils (46 points) are seven points back of the Chargers for the third and final postseason spot in the World Jai Alai League. On Friday night at the Magic City Jai Alai Court in Miami, the Devils face off with the Cyclones (36.5 points) for the third and final time this season. The Devils still have four games left on their schedule and a total of 32 available points. It’s desperation time for the Cyclones, however, who face a 16.5-point gap for third place with just three games and 24 points at their disposal. The teams played to a 4-4 draw on April 2 before the Cyclones clipped the Devils 5-3 on April 8. That loss was the Devils’ last time on the Battle Court while the Cyclones were crushed by the Renegades 6.0-1.5 on Tuesday.
