The ARCA Menards Series comes to Dover Motor Speedway for the first time on Friday night for the General Tire 150

While the ARCA Menards Series East regularly races at Dover Motor Speedway, the national branch of the series hits The Monster Mile for the first time on Friday night. Qualifying was held earlier in the day after Jake Finch took his first ARCA Menards Series checkered flag on the superspeedway at Talladega last week. Last season was dominated by teenager Jesse Love, who won 10 of the 20 races on the schedule before moving up to the NASCAR Xfinity Series for 2024. Love won his first career Xfinity race last weekend at ‘Dega while three different winners mark the opening of the ARCA series in 2024.

Finch won the ARCA Menards Series East race at Dover last April, finishing 0.164 seconds ahead of Landen Lewis in the 125-mile event that extended to overtime for two laps.

Greg Van Alst leads the ARCA Menards Series points race through three starts with 73 points, five ahead of Christian Rose and Andrés Pérez de Lara.

Gus Dean won the season opener at Daytona in February while William Sawalich took the checkered flag at Phoenix last month. Last week at Talladega, Finch started on the pole and led wire-to-wire, clipping Kris Wright by 0.184 seconds.
