The Calgary Flames look to end a four-game losing streak on Thursday when they travel to take on the St. Louis Blues. The Blues are trying to keep their playoff hopes alive but they’re going to need to go on a strong run to end the season. St. Louis is going for the last Wild Card spot behind the Vegas Golden Knights but St. Louis is still six points behind. The Blues are coming off a 2-1 overtime loss against those very Golden Knights on Monday. Goalie Jordan Binnington came up with 32 saves and Brandon Saad tied the game late in the third period but it was still not enough. Jonathan Marchessault scored the game winner for Vegas just 49 seconds in overtime to get the upset on the road. The good news for the Blues is that they still have three games left on this home stand and should be the favorite tonight against Calgary.

Calgary can’t seem to put much together on offense lately and a great case and point on that came in its last game in a 3-1 loss against the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday. Chicago has 47 points but were still able to score the first three goals of the game before MacKenzie Weegar scored in the third to help avoid the shutout. Calgary did outshoot Chicago 39-27 but Petr Mrazek made 38 saves to earn the third star. Calgary should have more luck fly its way tonight.
