Dejounte Murray and the Atlanta Hawks host the Charlotte Hornets in NBA action today.
The Atlanta Hawks (30-39) look to get back on track today against the Charlotte Hornets (17-52) after losing two games in a row and five of the last six games overall. Heading into today’s game Atlanta is in 10th place in the Eastern Conference, putting the team at risk as the final team in the Play-In Tournament. They are just 3.5 games behind the Chicago Bulls and 4.5 games ahead of the Brooklyn Nets, giving Atlanta a clear path to the Play-In Tournament as one of the final two seeds in the Eastern Conference this season with just 13 games left in the regular season.

Dejounte Murray has been on fire since the All-Star Break averaging 25.2 points, 8.5 assists, 5.7 rebounds and 1.8 per game shooting 35% from three. He has taken over the offense as the engine with Trae Young out with injury.
Murray will look to play at a high level again today to help Atlanta pick up its first win of the season against Charlotte. In the first two games Charlotte won 116-110 in the season opener and then again 122-99 just before the All-Star Break.
In the most recent game rookie Brandon Miller led six players in double-figures with 26 points, six rebounds and four assists in the win. Tre Mann (21 points), Miles Bridges (17 points), Grant Williams (15 points off the bench), Vasilije Micic (13 points off the bench) and Nick Richards (12 points) all finished in double-figures in the win.
