Travis Bazzana and No. 5 ranked Oregon State will take the diamond against Malcolm Moore and Stanford tonight.
Stanford will head on the road this weekend for the first game of a three-game series against the No. 5 team in the nation, Oregon State, at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field in Corvallis, Oregon, tonight. The Beavers, who rank No. 5 in the poll this week, are 27-4 overall this season with three of those four losses coming in the conference against Pac-12 teams. They were swept in two games by Southern California after sweeping Washington. They also lost one of three games against Utah and took a solo game loss against Arkansas early in the season. They have won six straight games heading into this series winning two against Gonzaga, sweeping Arizona State in three games, and a solo game against Portland. Second baseman Travis Bazzana has been a force to be reckoned with this season. He is batting .466 this season with a team-high 18 home runs and 45 RBIs. He has walked 39 times and only struck out 13 times in 31 games.

The Cardinal are just 13-17 overall this season and are even against Pac-12 teams at 6-6. They lost two of three games against USC followed by Creighton and Utah before getting swept by Texas Tech in two games. They won two games of three against Washington State before losing a solo against Arizona heading into this weekend.
