Wyndham Clark will try to hold his solo lead as the RBC Canadian Open tees off for round two today.
The next PGA Tour event is underway in Canada with the RBC Canadian Open at St. George’s Country Club and Golf Course. The purse is still $8.7 million; this is the last round before the halfway cut before round three.

Wyndham Clark came away from the first round with the highest score. He shot seven-under-par in round one and holds the lead to himself. Matthew Fitzpatrick, the England native, has No. 2 to himself, shooting six-under-par for the day.
Doug Ghim, another surprise appearance in the top three, is tied for No. 3. He shot five-under-par on Thursday. He is tied with Harold Varner III, who shot five-under-par after an impressive double birdie on hole 11.
Sahith Theegala, David Lingmerth, and Alex Smalley teed off first this morning at 6:40 a.m. EST on hole nine. Sanmoon Bae, Scott Gutschewski, and Matt Wallace teed off at 7 a.m. EST on hole one.
The round’s featured group of Rory McIlroy, Corey Conners, and Justin Thomas teed off at 12:53 p.m. EST. Many players fight to avoid the cut and make rounds three and four today.
