The Chicago Cubs go for their second straight win on Sunday when they take on the rival Milwaukee Brewers.
The Chicago Cubs battle the Milwaukee Brewers in the rubber match of their three-game series. The Cubs lost the opener 3-1, but bounced back on Saturday to get a 6-5 win. They were powered by home runs from Nico Hoerner, Christopher Morel and Patrick Wisdom. They also got another great pitching performance from Jameson Taillon to get the win. The Cubs will now send Javier Assad to the mound in the finale. Assad has been great this year and comes into Sunday 2-0 with a 1.97 ERA. The Cubs, though, are just 3-3 in his six starts this season. The Brewers will counter with Freddy Peralta as they try and pick up a big road series win over their rival.
