Paolo Banchero and the Orlando Magic look to even the series with the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 4 today.
After losing the first two games by 24 combined points on the road the Orlando Magic (1-2) bounced back in a big way in Game 2 of this first-round series with the Cleveland Cavaliers (2-1). Paolo Banchero led the way in Game 3 at home going for 31 points, 14 rebounds and five assists. Now Orlando has the opportunity to tie the series today in Game 4 before the series shifts back to Cleveland where it is just 1-3 this season in four games including the playoffs. That is the unpredictability of the playoffs. A team can lose back-to-back games by double figures and then bounce back with a 38-point win to shift the momentum to their side.

Orlando has played great on the defensive end all three games this series allowing just 97, 96 and 83 points this series. The offense stalled in Cleveland scoring just 84.5 points per game before exploding for 121 points in the Game 3 win.
Banchero’s scoring played a huge part in the win, but so was the play of the team in every facet of the offense. Orlando as a team had single-digit made three-pointers, under 20 assists and were outrebounded in each of the first two games.
Then at home in Game 3 Orlando made 13 shots from deep, had 24 assists and dominated the glass with 51 total rebounds. That type of offensive performance is key to Orlando keeping its season alive in the playoffs along with one of the best defenses in the NBA that always plays physical and gives the team a chance to win.
